Purpose:

To empower followers of Christ to minister in the marketplace where they work, live and play until Christ’s Return.

Principles:

Empowerment through the acts of education, evangelism, and living the Word of God.

This will happen by (but not limited to the following):

• Bible study groups focused on the Kingdom
• Workshops to network, increase participation, and encourage people
• Training classes
• Online training and resources
• Evangelism

• Market Ministers is not intended to replace the local church, but to supplement it by helping its members grow beyond salvation and into ambassadors of God’s kingdom.

Beliefs:

• The Bible is the infallible Word of God (2Tim 3:16-17)
• Our salvation from eternal separation from God is found only through Faith in Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, John 14:6, Romans 5:6-8, and Ephesians 2:8-9)
• We believe in the "great commandment"; "Love your neighbor as yourself", (John 15:17), and the "great commission"; "go into all the world and preach the gospel". (Matthew 28:18-20)
• The acts of the apostles and believers in the New Testament are available to us today through the power of the Holy Spirit, (Acts 1:8) and that the Old Testament is the foundation for which this New Covenant has been made.
• The "fivefold ministry" exists in the body of believers for the training of the saints until the church reaches the "fullness of Christ". (Ephesians 4:11-16)

What does the logo mean?

• Mirror image of the “m” representing how we are a reflection of Christ
• The image forms a torch. We are the ones who carry the flame and do not hide it.
• The flame: The Holy Spirit consumes us, yet we are not destroyed.
• The flame is shaped like a dove: Again, representing the Holy Spirit that rests on us.
• The letter “t”: There are two red crosses - One representing Christs crucifixion and the second represents our own cross that we must carry daily.
